A nightdress in 100% polyester satin, printed with a floral pattern in an oil-painting style. Here, satin refers to a weave, not a fibre: it is the weave that creates the sheen and the fluid drape, with no silk at all in the composition. It is also what explains the price, the simple care and the quick drying.
What you get
A light, breathable piece, soft against the skin, cut to be worn all night without getting in the way. The fabric glides rather than catches, which limits creases on waking and friction on your hair.
V-neck and adjustable straps
The V-neck frames the collarbones. The spaghetti straps are adjustable, so you can set the neckline height and overall length to suit your shape — useful if you are between two sizes.
The floral print
The pattern is printed, not woven: the flowers are laid down in flat blocks of colour in an oil-painting spirit, with strong contrasts that stand out against the sheen of the satin. Each piece is cut from a slightly different part of the pattern, so pieces are similar without being strictly identical.
Also for layering
The cut works beyond the bedroom. Under a straight jacket, a blazer or a denim jacket, it works as a slip dress. A thin belt defines the waist if you prefer a less fluid silhouette.
